Description
Shipping container lock box are steel plates welded to the cargo doors shrouding the padlock area, they tend to be approximately 150x230x50mm in size, although sizes will vary dependent upon the container.
Lock boxes prevent forced entry through vulnerable padlocks being jimmied, chiseled, or crow barred, they also prevent cutting tools such as bolt cutters and angle grinders from easily removing the padlock.
