General Information:

To make a 40ft roller shutter shipping container, first we start with a standard 40ft shipping container, we cut two apertures and reinforce with 100mm x 50mm steel box section, which is  then fully seem welded to the corrugation. Our team then use orbital sanders to ensure a smooth surface. We then paint the container with marine graded paint, you can choose any RAL or BS colour paint, addition charges may apply for non standard colours. Next the roller shutters are then bolted securely to the reinforced box section. Then our fully qualified electrician will fit the consumer unit a key switch unit for each roller shutter. We then have one final check before the shipping container is ready for delivery.

Delivery Options:

The used shipping container is available for delivery throughout the whole UK. All of our deliveries come on a HI-AB equipped vehicle. These vehicles can vary in size from 20ft long up to 60ft long so please check your access. Restrictions on delivery – please make sure there are no over head cables such as power lines and telephone lines, we must be a distance of 10 metres away at all times. The vehicle will need a width of 6 metre to 8 metre to enable the driver to get his out riggers deployed. The ground must be a hard standing ground.
